WASH-OUT POLICY FOR GROUP LESSONS & CARDIO TENNIS:
The school terms are 9-11 weeks long but there will be exactly 8 on-court lessons for your group each term. This leaves 1-3 weeks for washouts or public holidays. Lessons during the school holiday will be held if 8 on-court lessons have not been completed due to bad weather or public holidays.
WASH-OUT POLICY FOR PRIVATE LESSONS:
If a private lesson is washed out then every effort will be made to organise a catch up lesson either during the term or in the school holidays. Clients do not pay for washed out private lessons.
WASH-OUT POLICY FOR SQUADS:
If sessions are not completed due to bad weather then catch up sessions will be arranged for the entire squad.
WASH-OUT NOTIFICATION:
Wherever possible an sms to confirm a wash-out will be sent so please ensure we have your mobile number. If you do not receive sms notification then there is a good chance that the lesson will go ahead and you should therefore attend
HEAT POLICY:
On days of extreme heat (a current temperature of 37.0deg or above at the venue) lessons prior to 5.45pm will be cancelled. Lessons from 5.45pm onwards when the sun is not as strong may still go ahead. A general email will be sent as well as an sms if lessons are to be cancelled due to hot weather. If the temperature is between 30.0-36.9deg then lessons may be modified to ensure the children are not put at any risk (ie no running and regular drink breaks).
CANCELLATION POLICY:
Privates: 24 hours notice is required for a cancelled private lesson otherwise the lesson will be charged for. This time is required so that we can reschedule the other lessons for the afternoon. Catch-up lessons will be arranged for cancelled private lessons.
Groups: Term bookings are for 8 lessons with all pupils expected to complete the term program unless ill or injured. Catch-up lessons will only be guaranteed for school camps where notification is given prior to the camp and there is a vacancy of an appropriate standard. One per pupil per year. Catch up lessons MAY be available for illness/injury if prior notice (24 hours) is given.
PAYMENT POLICY:
Payment for the entire term is requested within the first two weeks of each term either via direct deposit into the OTC account or as cash in a envelope with pupil's name and total amount written on the front.
If you book in for a lesson and it goes ahead as planned then you are expected to pay for it (even if you do not attend).
Fees payed after the end of week 3 of the term will incur a $20 late payment charge.
